23 Pioneer Regimental Tie The traditional Black Polo ShirtThis is the 100% silk tie with the Red & Green stripes. This started out as the Pioneer Officers' Mess tie closely followed by the Sgts Mess but as the Regiment progressed, it soon become a singular tie worn by ALL members of 23 Pioneer Regiment and the Pioneer Association. It soon become the main tie for most Pioneers and over time has become easily recognisable across the British Army as 'The Pioneer Tie'
