There is wear on the fingerboard around the first three frets leading to the possibility that those frets may have been replaced, although it is impossible to be certain as the nibs are intact and the fret wire is period spec. This Les Paul was constructed with a mahogany body and a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The neck
