Quinta Nova Unoaked, Douro Red Wine Burgundy a place with a robust91 Points Robert Parker An unoaked Douro red from Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, built from the estate's main grape varieties to show pure Douro character without any barrel. Ruby in colour, with a youthful, exuberant and mineral nose of dark berry fruit. Fresh and intense on the palate, with a dense structure and lovely balance between fruit and freshness. Lovely with red meats, game and cheeses. Serve at 16 to 18C.
