Vintage Mens 1940s CC41 Mens Double Breasted Overcoat Coat Brown Stone Glen Check Wool DB 36"/38" 1940s Skirt Inside leg: 31 1/2" (80cm)A superb vintage 1940s CC41 Utility Scheme overcoat, made by 'Courtney Clothes' from a thick wool cloth in a bold herringbone check or glen plaid weave in marled shades of stony brown with faint red overchecks. It is double breasted with broad lapels, quite heavily padded shoulders with slightly roped sleeve heads, 2 flapped lower patch pockets, long rear kick vent, belt loops & belt with leather covered buckle; the original owner has fitted a nice
